KPMI operates three shipyards in the Philippines catering to the same group of customers most of the time. It is more effective and convenient to centralize the marketing effort and commercial functions of its shipyards through the Commercial and Marketing Center (CMC).  These include the handling of all inquiries and quotations until the awarding of the vessel to one of its yards. The Commercial Department of the respective shipyard then takes over further communication with the owner should there be additional information or quotations, co-ordination of activities, further estimation and billing of the work in the shipyard as well as the negotiation of the bills after the completion of the repair.

The Commercial and Marketing Center (CMC) is located in Keppel Batangas Shipyard in Bauan, Batangas to represent the two shipyards namely Keppel Batangas Shipyard, and Subic Shipyard and Engineering, Inc.

CMC is updated on the availability of dock spaces at the shipyards and offers the same to its customers in a coordinated manner, thus responding better to customers’ needs and repair schedule.
